I’ve had my eye on this style of shirt for awhile. I checked out versions in Saint James as well as Sézane and I figured at this price point, I would try this particular one.
It’s just your standard boat neck shirt. The fabric is fine, if a little boxy. The fabric is actually a little thicker than I had expected which was a nice surprise. I usually French tuck mine but I took pics without tucking it in so you can see the length. The one disappointment was I put the top on the washing machine (because this brand is definitely not worth dry cleaning!) and one of the buttons popped off, never to be seen again.
I think my biggest issue with Sezane is that it’s not cheap enough that quality issues like this are OK (not that they ever are but if you’re paying fast fashion prices, what do you expect). The items are definitely super cute, but I do find the brand to be very hit or miss. Maybe very slim women find it be less of a miss but it’s definitely not a great hit rate for me thus far.
Fit was fine and I do wear it fairly often that the cost has probably been amortized by this point. I think if I had to buy more Sezane things, I would probably not buy items that have intricate design details because frankly I don’t think they do a good job with them.Sezane,S,$100,5’5-5’6 5’5-5’6,French Brands,Jumper,Size S,Tops All Reviews,Sezane,Top
