I really liked the color of this Ann shirt, and had high hopes for a cotton/silk blend. I have some pretty sheer silk tops, including Eileen Fisher which isn’t exactly cheap. But this was next level – you could see my belly button and every mole. No way I could wear this to work without a full undershirt, which defeats the point of a lightweight summer shirt. Plus I was afraid it would disintegrate after the first wash. I was originally planning on buying this shirt in white but the store didn't have it in stock so I tried this color. To be fair, I think the white would likely have been quite see-through so it all worked out. This is not see-through and the fabric is soft.
