I ordered these and unfortunately they’re actually too small in length. I then realized that Sézane recommends going up to the next size and I didn’t realize that when ordering originally. I’m returning them and I actually reordered them in white in a 6.5 so we shall see how they go.
The pistachio color is much lighter and more muted in person. I can see why they show up more green in the photos. I had a hard time getting them to show the color properly in my own photos. I guess the best way to describe them is that I was expecting more of a saturated olive green based on the photos, but it’s more of a washed out, lighter green in person. I got the Paula babies in burgundy, they’re not very summery but the color is just gorgeous. I haven’t worn them outdoors but they are more comfortable than I thought they would be. Sezane dropped more purple clothes and purple boots. I wonder if they tried to go for purple but was harder to do that in leather? Either way, disappointing for those hoping they are more purple but a win for those of us who took a risk on the color name and hoped it would be more red than purple. They looked so precious online but I haven’t worn them as much as I thought I would. They’re not terribly flattering on me, but maybe a different color would be better. I’ve worn them I think twice now, there’s already a little bit of creasing. They’re not very comfortable for me, but I think I have somewhat wide feet. It’s a little tight in the toe bed.
