The picture is not very good. Its size 40 for my 38-40. I think it sizes slightly smaller in the hips area than the black Damon pants. But I cannot size up as the waist would be too big. I already have space to tuck a knit.
For the fabric, it's thick and warm but there is essentially no stretch.
