CREAM BOUCLE MINI JACKET DRESS

My first Self Portrait purchase! I was a little nervous as I got this on sale and I had never tried this brand before. The design is pretty true to the product image except I didn't realize how sparkly it was in person! I took some close ups of the fabric so you can see the little threads that reflect light. Not an issue but I definitely didn't think it would be this sparkly! Still wore it work though :)

The details are really nice and the dress is fully lined so it kept me quite warm. The belt is adjustable so you can cinch it accordingly. The two negatives are 1) the dress is quite structured but no stretch so if it didn't fit, there isn't much you can do about it (for instance, I have pretty wide shoulders in relation to my waist; the waist fits perfect but the shoulders are a tad tight and I cannot raise my arms overhead) and 2) the dress was wrinkled when it came out of the box. I don't know if it's just me but I feel like for fancy designer items, it should really come picture perfect when you receive the package :)

Overall, it was a win! I would definitely consider buying other items from this brand again.
