I’ve been on the hunt for boots for awhile. Full disclosure, I used to have SW 5050s which I must’ve bought 10 years ago and they lasted a super long time. When they finally died (the heel fabric was completely ripped and weren’t salvageable but I figured after a decade, it was time for a new pair anyway), I experimented with several cheaper brands. Cheaper being like $300-400 and they were NEVER great. Not only were the shoes not nearly as comfy, they never lasted more than a season or two without getting completely scuffed or damaged.
I finally bit the bullet and actually went to the SW store on a whim. I wanted a boot with a slight heel and by chance, they didn’t have the classic 5050 in my size (7.5). I tried this one on and I had to have it. There is also a trick to putting them on – just roll down the boot so it comes to mid-calf and they’re very easy to slip on. Sizing is true to size (actually there’s a tiny bit of wiggle room which makes it even more comfortable). I’ve been raving about these boots and I’ve gotten loads of compliments. They’re sleek, sexy, and comfy. Totally worth the money!!!Stuart Weitzman,Shoe Size 7.5,$795,5’5-5’6 5’5-5’6,Boots,Shoe Size 7.5,Shoes All Reviews,Stuart Weitzman
