I went through a whole process to find comfortable​,​ work-appropriate flats. I experimented with several smaller designers because I wanted to support emerging brands but frankly they weren't any good so I've come to the realization that for something super technical like shoes​,​ you just gotta go to the experts. I hadn't bought anything from Tory Burch but I knew plenty of women in my office who wore her shoes so I figured I couldn't go wrong. I LOVE these shoes. Minimal break-in period​,​ true to size (I am a 7.5 and sometimes have to size up)​,​ and super comfortable while stylish. I have one con - I got stuck in an NYC summer thunderstorm. The shoes got completely drenched but the shoe remained undamaged. HOWEVER​,​ in the inside of the shoe​,​ I think the leather dye bled onto my foot and it was literally impossible to get off. I think I must've washed my foot with soap 5-6 times and it made no difference. I ended up getting a pumice stone (!) and basically scraping off the surface layer.
