The jeans are so rigid lol I don’t know how long it would take for me to be comfortable sitting down with them. Quality is good​,​ a true medium wash​,​ I’m 5'3 for reference. It sounds like there's a process for the jeans to soften up and loosen with wear - someone noted that "100% cotton jeans are made to loosen and form to your body as much as 1.5 inches with wear. Then wash sparingly and hang dry. Mine have relaxed comfortably after a few wears. A bigger size would have been too big. I think we are often used to jeans with stretch in them that don’t require this process.
