I got the EU40 in these. My waist is 30inch​,​ hips 40in. These fit just right in the hips with just a small gap in the waist which is typical for me with respect to Sezane trousers. They're 100% cotton with little​,​ to no stretch and they are thick and structured like traditional denim. The best surprise (for me) is that the inseam was only 32"​,​ not the 34" advertised so I can wear these with normal heels! The button was unexpectedly pretty and fancy too. The biggest concern I have with the trousers is that it says you should not wear with light colored clothing -- implying that it'll bleed onto light colored things. That might be too much maintenance for me.
