I'm 5'5 and I usually wear size 0 / pants size 25. Sezane silk tops first got me hooked on the brand. My first love is their beautiful Chlo top in a dark green color. I loved it so much that I went ahead and purchased the navy blue version of it too. What really impresses me about Sezane silk button down tops is their attention to detail - notably a lot of them have silk covered buttons. I'm obsessed with this style. Button-downs don't usually look good on me because of my boobs - they tend to look boxy and quite matronly. I LOVE the little feminine details on this shirt. The ruffles, the slight balloon sleeve, and even the stripes somehow look quite dainty. I got a bunch of compliments on this shirt. Might have to buy more! The only one thing I would be mindful of is if you sweat a lot, sweat stains are super visible. Hasn't been too big of a problem for me but something I'm keeping in mind as we head into the hot and humid summer. No issues with gaping (usually wear 34C). I got size 4 which is my usual size. I bought BNWT (brand new with tags) from ebay. I got a 12/44. I’m usually a 10 but being new to the brand I felt comfortable sizing up. It is a little roomy but I think a size smaller might be a bit snug on my arms. So interestingly, I bought this shirt in Ecru a few weeks ago and I was really disappointed because it was completely see-through and utterly unwearable. I sent it back and forgot about it. Then I read a couple of reviews for the same shirt but in different colors and it was clear that this should be every working woman's staple blouse! I got my usual size 4 and I LOVE IT. I would wear this with a pencil skirt as well as jeans for a more dressed down look. I love the little details - the fabric-covered buttons, the ruffle drape detail, and also the slightly balloon sleeves which I think look super girly. The one thing to note is that the blouse itself is opaque but I did notice that deodorant stains happen pretty easily. I'm going to try a spray deodorant to see if that helps. Love this shirt. Chloe (Chlo) has to be of my favorite Sezane items hands down. It feels so luxurious but can still be dressed down so nicely. The DRAPE. Care tips:  I hand wash with Laundress Delicate detergent. Cold water in a sink or basin, a tiny bit of Laundress mixed in, let it soak for about 5 minutes with little to no agitation, drain and press water put gently (without wringing), roll it up in a towel and gently step on it to remove more water, lay flat to dry. If you’re treating stains the Laundress Stain Solution is the best. Size tips: 34 is TTS (Size 2) for me and the fit is intentionally roomy. This is in bright sun because I wanted to show the fabric. The shirt is a dark green, does not show your bra or anything in average light, but it is sheer when held up to a sunny window. I wore it to teach in professional settings, and did the various lighting check - seemed OK! It has a lovely feel to the touch. Bottle Green: One of my all-time favorite shirts! Highly recommend for work - I’ve worn it to multiple interviews as well - it’s my go-to when I don’t know what to wear. Sage: This one is lovely plus it’s easier to match with a darker bottom than the Bottle Green version, albeit it's a little flashier. Magenta: This one is a little trickier because I can’t really get the color right - it’s a fuschia that’s toned more violet than orange. Note - these shirts all fit true to size. I do usually wear something underneath to protect the shirts from sweat stains. Ugh, I'm so bummed about this shirt. This shirt is GORGEOUS. The beautiful buttons, the collar details, the lovely silky feel... There was no gaping at all which is not always the case (bought the size 4 which is my usual size). Unfortunately, it was totally utterly see-through. I'm wearing a nude bra which is normally not visible at all under white tops but this fabric is just so sheer you can see it from the front and the back. There's no way I can wear this to the office or even out for a night out - I would feel totally naked! I thought about keeping it and just wearing a camisole but it just seems like a lot of unnecessary work. I'll be returning this very sadly. If they could make this exact design but use a slightly thicker, more opaque fabric, I would buy it in every color! Alas, the design as is is frankly just not functional. I'm curious to see if anyone else has bought this style in other colors and whether different colors have different opacity.
